The major planning principles:
An inner contained city with a residential medium density
sectors spreadings fan-like around the central zone.
Low density residential sectors at edges of inner city.
All buildings on ridges with a clearly defined edge.
A central valley with its branches is a main characteristic of the site- is to become the main city park, its sport & recreation zones and major open space.
The city center is at geographical focus containing all the singular institutions regional & local. This will have a “landmark” physical presence with a high regional and local accessibility.
The building of each sector will be lowest at the edges, becoming taller and denser towards the ridges.
A suburban road all along the centaral valley, a parkway serving as a spine to the access secondary roads.
