A “new city” is planned seven kilometers south of Prague, between two villages located on the main road leading to Austria. The city ,of 1,400,000 sq.m , will integrate the two villages into one urban unit including the following:
-5,000 res. Units of different kinds
-Public buildings
-Public services for the welfare of the residents in the entire district
-High-tech office zone
-A shopping center
-An amusement park (next to the existing golf facility) that includes hotels and an amusement center, a medical center and a nursing home.
Project area: 1,200,000 sq.m
Status: pending approval of the statutory committees.
