As a sequence to “A.Niv architects Ltd”(1964 et al) – the partnership of Amnon Niv & Amnon Shwartz Architects was established in 1988.

This firm has been and is engaged in the whole spectrum of planning and design activities, has a rich experience and made an impact on general planning issues in the land of Israel.

In recent years this office has specialized in tall buildings design-residential & office towers (The M. Aviv tower of 68 floors is still the landmark of the entire region).

The office has been engaged recently with:

A detailed urban scheme of a mosaic of plans, 13 in number, to re-design the Diamond Exchange sector of the city of Ramat – Gan.

A plan to use the territorial potential of the right-of-way of the Ayalon Highway.

Preparing a detailed scheme to create a new sector of Aircargo Terminals at the Ben-Gurion international airport.

Amnon Niv is a graduate of the Technion institute in 1955.
Amnon Niv was chief architect for the Nuclear Research center in the Negev.
He served for 11 years (1977-1988) as the City Engineer (Chief of planning) of Jerusalem.

Lectured at the Political Science Dept. of the Hebrew University for graduate students (”planning in a democratic society “) as well as a guest lecturer at the Harvard urban design program.
He is also a Rokah award for Architecture recipient

Amnon Schwartz is a graduated of the Technion’s Faculty of Architecture in 1966.
Amnon Schwartz is a highly experienced architect.
He is responsible for executing firm’s projects.
He received the Rokah Award for Architecture and the Rechter Award for Architecture.

The firm consists of skilled and energetic team, capable of efficiently and professionally face architectural challenges of any scale. At present our team is planning numerous tall buildings and urban–design projects in Israel and abroad.
